Tattoo - YES
Name - NO

For me, a tattoo is more about symbolism and expression. A name is too closely related to the physical world to hold any lasting meaning. But the soul attached to that name may warrant a symbol, I guess its one way of holding a person close.......but we also need to know when to let go..........

I had an ex spouses name put on my shoulder. Needless to say, it cost more for the tat to cover it than the original one cost. Unless it's a child or other family member, friend, or for memorial type reasons,etc. I wouldn't recommend it.

I had my stupid ex-wifes name...... then we got divorced and I fixed the tatoo!!
