What does CCM stand for? They manufacture much of the equipment in hockey today........

CCM, formerly an initialism for Canada Cycle & Motor Co. Ltd. The company eventually split into two separate entities both maintaining the CCM trademark, one manufacturing hockey equipment and the other CCM (cycle) manufacturing bicycles.

Nothing wrong with D3, it's a better level than most attain. But if you're not getting scholarship offers at D2 or D1 schools chances are you won't be able to play for a national team or in the women's pro league. That said, I suggest you concentrate on your studies - possibly consider Kinesiology so that you can stay involved in the sport(s) you love after graduation.
