Can you think of any home made Christmas presents that would be good for 8-17 years old, and also for parents (41). I don't know what to get, but I don't have any money so I can't buy anything. Any ideas?

Make a nice card that lets them know you appreciate them. Nothing is better than something from the heart. No gift is as good as a sincere expression of love and or thankfulness. Even brothers and sisters who may not have the courage to admit it out loud have warm feelings. You can include a note that gives them something like a "one time I will so the dishes for you" or something also. Everyone loves a kind word.

Make treats for everyone. Who doesn't like Christmas treats? It shows that you took the time to make them something special even if you don't have a lot of money.

Im giving little baggies of "snowman poop" to the kids in my daughters class cause i dont have time to bake nor do I have money
so im taking little ziplock bags and filling them with little mini marshmallows and adding a tag to each one

"Santa looked at his list, he even checked it twice and found that you haven't been very nice.... Since coals so expensive, heres the scoop hes filling your stocking with snowman poop"

I thought it was cute and kids will get a kick out of it

Jewelery with plastic beads.. It's cheap if you don't already have them laying around (I know we do! =p) Or keychains, potholders, ribbons (ie: I took two different colored ribbons for our vball team, glued them with a gluegun in the middle and on each persons I wrote their name on one side and number on the other. Change it up with Christmas colors or something)
