Are there any men out there that treat there wife like a child and try to be there daddy??? (NO my husband doesn't) We were at a one of my husbands co workers house last night for dinner. You would have thought that he was her daddy. He put exactly what he wanted her to eat on her plat and them when she was full proceeded to tell her to eat EVERYTHING on her plat. These kinds of incidents happened throughout the night. I couldn't tell if he was her husband or her daddy. I'm not asking what people think of it (I think its wrong) I'm just wondering if you have seen something like this before, I sure havent.

Men should have the upper hand in relationships but thats going to far. My wifey is welcome to eat as she pleases. She is my wife and I will admit I control her to an extent but she and I agree to this.

I only call my husband daddy around the kids and in bed. Never does he treat me like a child. If he ever did I would take my Tek 9 and bust a AK. Ha ha ha, I'd kill him.

She might have health problems and he helping by acting like that. My sister was the same way we had to make sure she ate right and did things so she wouldn't cause harm. She may seem normal but it might be he is a jerk too. Sick if there is nothing wrong though.

There are women out there that like to push there husband around and tell them what to do. Some men like it. Some men (ME) don't. It just depends on the people involved and what they are willing to put up with. Who knows after you left she might have chewed him out.

I've never seen it to that extreme, but I've seen it before. Any self-respecting woman wouldn't permit such patronizing behavior. There's got to be a significant level of "asking for it" on the part of the woman. If he's imposing it on her against her will, it's abuse.

I sure as heck would never allow such a behavior to happen. But she allows him to treat her that way so somewhere along the way she thought it was OK or she needs some serious help.. this behavior is not normal..

Yes I have seen this before and experienced it myself!!! It is like a form of control--and it really sucks!!! I won't tolerate that for myself--I am very strong woman and women who do tolerate it must feel very overwhelmed or have no self esteem--maybe they even like it--I don't know. I hate it--I really hate it--to me it's immoral--he is supposed to be your husband--I couldn't even sleep in the same bed!!!! Yuck.

Its because some women prefer guys who are in control.

There are all kinds of guys around, just like there are all kinds of girls.
