Age is not the only deciding factor for regularity of a period. How regular is your period? How long have you been having a period. How athletic are you? Are you dieting too much? Have you been under stress (like anxious that your period is late)?
Now what you haven't said may be the question you really want to ask: Has a penis or sperm been on your skin near your vagina?
You can be a virgin and still get pregnant (and no, your name does not have to be Mary). If you have participated in what is called intra-femual intercourse, that is a penis is between your legs but not in your vagina, you could get pregnant. Semen on the labia just need a little moisture to find an egg.
Heavy "petting", that is mutual masturbation, could cause semen to be transferred to you vagina. Boy masturbating and then touching your vagina could get you pregnant.
Any sexual activity that involves a penis and a vagina could accidently transfer sperm to your vagina.
If you have any reason to believe you may be pregnant, get a home pregnancy test and soon so you have plenty of time for some important decisions.
Good Luck.

Sometimes it takes a year or sometimes more to totally regulate your body. Also if you are spending alot of time with a new female friend your due date can change. It doesn't make alot of sense but it can happen. I wouldn't worry yet. I remember a friend when I was your age who had 2 or 3 and then nothing for about a year. she was an athlete.
Sometimes if you are into a sport it can change your cycle a bit too. If you have had some excitement out of the norm or something has upset you that too can play a part. We women have such an intricate system. Don't worry but if it takes too long ask your Mom and maybe she can ask your Dr.

Don't worry its normal for u to be irregular. Ur body is still adjusting. I was irregular for a long time and couldn't figure out why. Maybe you should talk to your mom about going on birth control ( i know your a virgin its just to make u have a period on the regular). Trust me it works. It will come eventually don't worry yourself about. Its ok. Hope i've helped.

You're only 14. You'll be having irregular periods for a while. Your only 2 days overdue. Why are you worrying? When its a month overdue I would go talk to your doctor.
I've NEVER had my period arrive at the exact day, its usually within a week long period (I'm 15, I've had mine for 2 years now).

for the first two years periods can be very irregular.
i had my first in september the second in january and then they came every 2-3 months for a year before i got a regular 28 day cycle!!!
stress can stop your period too!
tell ur mum so you can both keep an eye on it and if it dosent arrive in the next week or so see a doctor to check you out.
cause your a virgin there is little to worry about.

don't worry. if you're a virgin, your period will come! I was just worrying about mine last week. I usually have it on the 14th and because of worrying and stress that I may be pregnant, i had it late. I just had it yesterday. Don't worry, if you haven't done anything then you're fine. Stress will just keep it late.

It is normal in the first couple of years to have irregular periods. If you recently lost weight, gained it, or had anything stressful in your life that could also cause this to happen.

Nothing to worry about. Your body needs to work things out. I would suggest you observe your menstration cycle for the next 2-3 months to determine your menstrual cycle.

Periods are irregular in teens. This is perfectly normal and it would come late. As you mature, it would be more regular. So don't worry about it...
