We recently saw a remote controlled car in a shop which had instructions in English on the side. (The car wasmanufactured abroad) It advised the user 'please not to drive car on crapet or other soft underneath, as the fiction may cause lack of speeding and the final stopping with no more driving eventually!' My husband had to practically carry me out of the shop, I was laughing so much. Has anyone any similar examples of brave but uninentionally amusing attempts to communicate in our so difficult language?

Japanese attempts to write English are so funny it's called "Engrish". Warning on a package of batteries:
"Do not swallow baterries
or it could make you a
seriously hurt blood
stream, or could make
your mind damaged."
