I believe Amy Lee is the lead singer of the band, Evanescence. So, Amy Lee and Evanescence are technically not the same person, becasue Evanescence is technically not a person.

Amy Lee is the lead singer of Evanescence. The song "Broken" was not her song, it was Seether featuring Amy Lee back in the days when she was dating their lead singer Shaun Morgan. I dont think they still go out.
