Man, i wish i could go back..
to the time where every girl had a poster of some 80s hair band or another..
when Madonna, whitney houston, and cyndi lauper were popular...
when hairspray and spandex were a must..
and Metallica was still an underground band
even though i was born in the early 90s..
i have immersed myself in this 80s lifesyle
dig?

The 80's had some good rock.
The Crue was awesome in the Theatre of Pain, Dr. Feelgood and Girls, Girls, Girls concerts.

I wish I could have been born in the 70s so I could enjoy the 70s and 80s! Which I missed out on because I had to be born in the 90s...

Ah, the age of the cookie cutter glam-rock bands.
Motley Crue, Bon Jovi, Cinderella, Poison, Ratt, Great White, White Lion, Slaughter, Warrent, Winger, Guns n Roses... the list goes on.

Most of them had only one hit. All of them relied on two things:
1) Teeny boppers pining for a "bad boy" (and wishing they could get their hair to look that way)

2) Emasculated boys wishing they were cool (and wishing they could have a girlfriend with hair and makeup that way)

I was born in 1980, and every since I was a very young girl I have wished I had been a teenager in the 80's!

It was awsome back then....the 80's still rock today. Only downfall to being able to witness the 80's is....you would be 40 today and not 16. The 80's were fun.

it was my favorite era!!!

i was a teenager, in high school. and even though i didn't keep up with all the fashion trends, i did have a pair of parachute pants and "gasonline" jeans... my hair was styled in this weird style that was a bob, but i could put it all up on top with hairspray and mousse and it was...just cool... (my hair still sticks up when it wants to... i cannot un-train it to stop).

even the music that i hated back then sounds good to me now...

in my mind, those will always be the good old days!!!

Mid-60s through mid-70s rocked. The 80s were a sad joke. From what I can remember, anyway.
