HR problems? Utley, Dye, Drew, Froncoeur should provide a few.

Obviously you don't have huge HR power, but your pitching makes up for that.

If saves are in your league, otsuka could be a issue, but could get a few with gagne. Keep all your pitchers, those guys are great for a keeper league. At worst Matsuzaka will be well above average, i don't care what other asian pitchers have done, this guy is easily more talented than all others combined.

Obviously if you get a chance to upgrade your lineup that makes sense do it, but that pitching is worth keeping.

Did you just draft? If so, why are you drafting so early, guys like Zito and Suppan aren't even signed yet.

If you didn't just draft, how do you already have D-Mat?

It's a solid team, but looking at all of the front-line players you have, I am assuming that it's not a very deep league. Based on that assumption and based on the caliber of players you do have, I'd expect that you have a solid team--but probably not a team that can win the league, because the other teams must have more high-end players.

Solid squad though.

You need some pop in that line-up and possibly one more closer.
Now that Gagne will will more than likey be Texas's closer.

I strongly suggest trading Matsuzaka while his overrated stock is up. Asian pitchers just don't pan out well in the majors. Especially those that pitch in the AL East. The rest of your rotation is full of nice young promising talent on the rise.

Looks good at a glance.

Of course, we have no way of knowing how good it is since there is no way to assess it against the other teams in your league. If you're in a 5 team league, I suspect the other teams are pretty loaded and perhaps your team is just run-of-the-mill. Conversely, if it's a 20 team league the talent is probably spread pretty thin and that would make your team appear strong.

Additionally, not knowing what categories your league uses makes it tough to see if you have the right elements in place to be successful in your particular set-up.

Whatever the case, good luck! :-)

Your pitching is impressive. You could have some trouble in the HR department though.

If you can keep all those folks... Then you have a beast team, see you in the championship. That is a very good team.
