I was born in 1988 so I didnt "live" through this period. Why do I feel that I dont belong here. I feel as if I should have been born earlier. I miss everything old: I collect records of 80's bands such as Thompson Twins and Bob Seager (my mom's personal fav). I Love Stevie Nicks, Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins, Cyndi Lauper, etc. The list goes on forever.

I have always said that the 80s was the last decade of original and good music, and I say this as a New Order and Depeche Mode fan. It was the last time that artists were real human beings, not dolls controlled by the record company. They could write their own songs, play their own instruments and the music meant something. And a lot of Eighties bands are still around- look at New Order.
Plus, you can't beat a good bit of synth music!

I love the 80's myself. Some of the movies were great and the music was excellent.
Favorite TV - Fraggle Rock
Favorite Movie - Labyrinth
Favorite Band - Simple Minds

Oh the hairbands of the 80's those guys were sooooo hot and they rocked, I loved Def Leppard, Guns and Roses, Skid Row and many many more. It was a great time to be a teen now my son who is 11 is taking a big intrest in 80's rock I think that is so cool
