Of course he can. He deducts Income Tax, Disability, Social Security, Health Premium, Medicare premium, and Pension contribution.

They deduct for taxes and SS and other gov things also
Any court ordered judgments to garnish .
It is not up to the employer to decide right or wrong or didn't receive . . . that was up to the court and if they say judgment / garnish, the employer obeys the court.
( IN USA , other countries , don't know )

they cant take out any money without your prior ok.no matter what it is.unless you did sign some thing when ya got hired in.otherwise you need a lawyer.if so,could be your name on the sign out front this time next year,good luck.
