All the gifts on the table are the same shape, it appears. If I had to guess, I would say it's some kind of desktop accessory... perhaps a pen & post-it note holder (pen cup on one side, slanted post-it holder on the other). That's the only thing I could ever find at the store that might make sense to give a boss as a gift. Could have a golf theme to it, given the stereotype of bosses of big companies being into golf.

I don't think the movie ever said. Clark just delivered it to his boss in the conference room where he was working.

It's a desk organiser. In the time of the movie being made, that was a common way for desk organisers to be packaged.
