the best thing to give him is a gift certificate since you hardly know him , that way you let him choose , http://goodmanzone.tripod.com/giftcertificate.html#start2 you will find many choices of gift certificates at variable prices $30 or less or more.

early 20s? how old you are can help determine. if you're younger than your sister, just get him a disc; after all, he's not YOUR boyfriend. And you hardly know him. Nothing PERSONAL should go from you to him. Maybe get him a rock, punk, power-pop
t-shirt. it's not a big deal. he's pretty much a stranger, and you just wanna say, here's a cool little gift for my sister's boyfriend. better yet, you should give your sis her gift, and then a combo gift to BOTH of them. Try a movies gift certificate. To: Jenna and Rick.....From: Chicklet

A electronic computerized game; poker, 21, etc. or cd's or a statue figurine of his fav sports, cartoon character or with a friendship verse (guys do hold on to things over the years, not just lady's) gift certificate for rental of movie from local dvd/video place, put it in a basket with popcorn, soda, chips, candy, etc.
It's always fun to shop when it's for special people, just wish we had more money to spend!!!

gift cards are bull**** i get very pissed off when i get one, we are guys and we like it simple we don't change gifts we just use them, i think that a nice (nice doesnt mean xpen-c-ve) belt will do it, or a lighter (my fav) or even a set of balls (golf, tennis or some) 30 bucks worth of balls makes an unusual but nice gift, if he plays some sport ok. good luck
