oh - I came up with three tracks and then saw you wanted Hip-hop and alternative. Nevermind, I'm here to get my points awarded, so I'll give you three tracks.
1st - I will survive
2nd - Divines, You think you're a man
3rd - Get along without you now.

Keith Urban- Tonight I Wanna Cry & You'll Think of Me
Kelly Clarkson- Since U Been Gone
Beyonce- Me, Myself & I
Sarah McLachlan- Fallen & Stupid (or pretty much anything by her)
James Blunt- Goodbye My Lover
Faith Hill- Let Me Let Go
Dixie Chicks - Not Ready To Make Nice & Let Him Fly
Fiona Apple- Shadowboxer

:o) Just a few to start with...not really R&B/Hip Hop/Alternative, but really good songs that helped me

Artist: Eamon.
Song name: F*ck it.

(That an Kelius: I Hate you so much right now)

I will survive, Gloria Gaynor

I'd stay away from music for a while if you're feeling emotional already. Music is an Atom bomb of emotion and it seems as though you have enough of those already. I'd take time away from that to balance myself.
