Synth question?

Who in your opinion are the greatest synth bands? I would personally choose Depeche Mode, but I want to listen to some more recent and undiscovered stuff, like Covenant (who I'm listening to right now).
Anything appreciated!

I think Depeche Mode is probably is the greatest synth band. A close second sould probably be Human League, as they started 5 years earlier than Depeche Mode.
