My bf and I have been going out for a year and 8 months. Were both going to school right now. So it might be to soon but not sure. I have about 2 years left and then I'm graduating. We talk about marriage but I'm not sure whats going on in his head. I wanna marry him and he says he wants to marry me. He actaully has asked me but he said that he wants to ask me right with a ring. He is also going to ask my dad for his blessing. But do you think it might happen soon? What do you think?

How in the world is 1 year and 8 months a long time to date? Not sure who said that but I think several years are good. I dated a guy for 3.5 years and we were going in that direction but then realized that we weren't right for each other. Not to say you and he aren't going to get married! I'm in a similar situation with a guy I've been with for 1 year and 7 months or so, we've lived together since January and have looked at rings well over 6 months ago....still waiting but he says he's saving up to pay for the ring in full, hates debt and is waiting for the perfect time. Maybe your guy is in the same boat. I would suggest just knowing some friends who married right out of college to set the date a little far ahead so you can get out, get a job and then worry about the planning. She was so stressed trying to graduate and then have a wedding right after. Poor thing. Congrats on the impending engagement!

Honey, I feel that he will ask you. Maybe he will ask you as his christmas gift to you. But dont expect it to happen, because it will not happen then. Just give it some time and wait to be suprised. If he has already talked about wanting to marry you and has sort of already proposed to you, then he will do it. Someday. Just be patient okay.
