My family insists on going to disneyland on christmas, i think it will be packed, but they say no one wants to go on christmas day so it will be practicly empty. has anyone been to disneyland on a past christmas or do you have an idea of how bad the crowd will be?

There was a time when it wasn't very busy Christmas because we used to choose that day to go. But now, no way would I go Christmas Day. The last time we tried it was so packed they had to extend the hours for the day because the lines were so long. They also had closed the park at one point to anymore visitors because they had reached the LEGAL capacity!!! So my advice would be to choose another day. I know we have gone during the week when school is in and it doesn't seem to be as packed as usual but then most people don't like to take their kids out of school and take of from work for that. It also closes earlier which is fine because you can do all you want in that time.

I used to work at Disneyland. It's VERY crowded during this season...especially ON the holidays. Christmas Day is more crowded than one would think. I saw some years were worse than others. But honestly, DL is usually crowded anyway during "peak season".
btw, not EVERYONE in the world is Christian or celebrates Christmas. There are tons of people who don't...plus, right now is the Southern Hemisphere's Summer season, so it's often packed with Aussies and the likes on vacation.

I went to Disneyland close to Christmas and lots of people were slow,complaining,and were going in long lines.So yes, Disneyland is very busy over the holidays.

i`ve been there for christmas once and it was usually packed as it was everytime of the year i don`t think it makes a diffrence on which day

it's going to be busy. but i guess it's lot of fun on christmas day. They have lot of activities there on 25 th.

no it is almost deserted bcuz people want to be at home so they can do that under the christmas tree and santa brought that for you crap

i went last year. YES, it will be VERY full. but if you go, go early in the morning, its not as full
