I do. I come here to get away from the stress of everyday life, but I don't always take the advice seriously. I have more common sense than that. It is also nice to know that there are people here that are somewhat more insane than I am.

Goodness, I hope not. I don't see these forums as useful with mental health problems. Even though a couple people might be able to help the number of rude people might upset a truely depressed person. They may make fun of someone with OCD ect ect.

People probably come here for a variety of reasons. One of the main ones I'm willing to bet, is simple loneliness and not wanting to admit to it. Let's face it, it's a big, cruel, cold world short on kindness and long on poison. Look at some of the phraseology here.

i've seen people ask questions about mental health and i was really surprised to see they havent gotten any rude answers. i guess it depends on the way a person words the question. i like to think the people answering questions in the mental health section are mature.

I used to answer questions there but darn they never took my advice so I just said phooey! LOL

I have depression, adhd, and bipolar disorder and i come here for help with my problems but i would never ask about medication ect.

I think it's great that we can come here and dump our junk w/o serious consequence. However...seems there's too many 'haters' here to call it mental help! lol!
