I am in a wheelchair and I get sooo fed up with all the people out shopping, getting in my way and not giving me the room i need to get to anything. People can be so ignorant. I don't want special treatment, just access to the shelves!!! Merry Christmas to you and a Happy New Year.

Funny but so far this year, most people have been soo sweet and nice. Maybe it is my smile, or I am "Christmas Addled" or just have become a brain washed Christmas git, but this year seems better than the last few.

I'm fed up - Christmas gets far too much publicity. I'd really like it to be like Easter - to just come & go quietly without the fanfare & commotion. However, I haven't experienced a lack of manners, so that's a bonus.
Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year to you, too - & to ALL Yahoo players everywhere!!!

Oh yes, I hate the fact that since the age of about 13/14 all the magic of Christmas has totally evaporated

i've said to my partner today, why are people so miserable, and think about nobody else but themselves at this time of year.i have 4 children to buy presents for,but most people think that they're the only ones buying things.i'll be looking at something and they just walk in front of me,what happened to excuse me? if i see someone who wants to look at something i'll step back, but hardly anybody does it for me.if i see someone struggling with bags and trying to open a door,i'll hold it open, but very rarely get a thank you.but nobody will hold the door for me.i love xmas, but why are so many people so ignorant that they put you off shopping.got to say though,it is mainly elderly people.

I agree.I was just at J.C.Penney the other day when two women behind me got into an argument about who was in line first(and both of them were well into their 60's)They were yelling at each other and telling each other to "shut up".I think it's sad to see everyone so stressed out about the one holiday that is meant to bring peace and togetherness to everyone.
