As far as I am concerned it should even be called a beauty pageant for they have no idea of what real beauty is.Real beauty comes from within and not how people look on the outside.Your right they r stupid.Have a great x-mas.

I have 2 beautiful daughters and another on the way. Both of my daughters have been approached by "scouts".
There is no way in hell. My girls have so much more to offer. It is sad that parents teach their daughters to validate themselves by things like beauty pagents.
I know many who try to justify pagents by saying they get scholarships and are able to be spokespersons for important organizations. But, thats crap. They are chosen for their appearance and not the depth of their character.

As a woman, I find them Ignorant and offensive, they promote that the only thing that will get you anywhere is if you look like a perfect Barbie doll. Not how intelligent you are.

I agree and it is disgusting when people put their little girls in a pageant. Why would anyone do that?

i think its morally wrong to dress you 8 year old kid up like god knows what just to have people stare at her these people could be perverts or who knows what how can they encourage there child to wear makeup and dress like that and not have a childhood some children dont get the chance to have a childhood and have to grow up very quickley these people are just throwing there kids lives away and adults they should know better

I guess it is a form of entertainment for some. I dont watch them. I guess some people like it like, sports, american idol, and other wierd form on entertainment.

They are all one big messy pile of who's who, and who's doing who and when are they getting the contract for my Niece, my Daughter and my Cousin crap...as they say it's not who you know it's really who you b888.

i no this is probaly stereotyping and they cant all be like that but to me its just like an attention seeking contest! they are vacant have no ambition and are spiritually and mentally empty people imho
