I left my home in Ireland and lived in London for years. When going to Ireland I would tell my wife that I was going home on a certain date and I would be back ten days later. That was when my mother, Lord rest her, was alive. I did not notice my self, but shortly after her death, my wife informed me of a change in attitude. I would, since then, tell her that I was going to Ireland and would be home (in London) in ten days. It has been like that now for many years. What I am trying to say, is that I believe, at least in my case, home was where my mother was, but now it is where my wife is.
