what's the deal with dayquil and nyquil?

Take the nyquil during the day and the dayquil during the night....

More sales and profit. Plus one is for the day and the other one helps u sleep at night. Remember Nyquil use to have some alcohol.

Nyquil contains alcohol which will make you drowsy and Dayquil is non-drowsy.

This is just a guess, but Dayquil probably doesn't have any antihistamines in it, as those make many people drowsy.
Nyquil probably includes antihistamines...

THE DAY ONE YOU USE DURING THE DAY AND STAY AWAKE, THE NYQUIL NIGHT VERSION, PUTS YOU TO SLEEP. THEY REALLY WORK FOR ME.
