By being optimistic I think you will help cause others to become optimistic, which will help the company do better. But on the other hand it might cause some others to choose to stay with the company thinking it will grow, when it would be better for them to move to a different company (that might do better).

Hope this makes sense. Thanks

What I think you are saying is that you must act as if you are optimistic and you are in fact pessimistic. But then, if it were that simple, you would admit you were dishonest, and jump ship.

You are saying that by projecting optimism, you can indeed bring about a positive change in the company. This would certainly be true, for example, if you are in sales and marketing, or in the finance end of the company.

So you learn to walk a tightrope when your company is in fact a little shaky. If it is just that it is new, that's not so bad: people expect some new ideas will work, some will not. But if the company has been around for awhile, and the reasons why it is now shaky are problems that have not really been solved (poor management in some key positions, even dishonest people in key positions), then it would be dishonest to recommend support for the company, and you should tender your resignation.

It is a tough call, but you need to make it on the basis of whether the people you are working for are honorable. It's the only way.

Temp adjustments? confident. i'm hoping the dems lose massive time. in the experience that they lose and initiate having to actual compromise and make judgements that are for the coolest of anybody, then we would nicely be able to initiate doing some thing of cost. lets initiate with the help of droping income tax in 0.5 and making it a tax on products and a carbon tax. the overall result to us will be nil for the favourite shopper, yet lets drastically replace the course of the country. imagine in case you'll, taxing recycled cloth at a decrease fee. How a lot would that develop recycling? imagine a carbon tax that doesn't hit the middle type wallet? How cool would that be? it should be totally market pushed, with the govtto furnish a known course. previous that, we are porbably no more beneficial than 20 years faraway from having e-autos take over the market. With somewhat push kind the govtin a carbon tax (with linked help of income tax connected to the invoice) it ought to take position in 10-15 years. somewhat push for nuclear power, that you recognize the conservatives will be in the back of, and we may nicely be able to dethrone Coal as king. the path to modify, besides the indisputable fact that, should be an wise bypass, caused with the help of rational selection making. not the scare anybody to death or the deny there is even a difficulty as seen interior the partisan politics that were occurring.

Sorry, you are either an American or one of those ******** |Brits who actually believe in management courses. Fu*k the boss, who cares if he is happy? Do your job well, if you enjoy it, if not get out. Servitude is not living, if you love your job do it because YOU enjoy it, not because it will make other people happy! Or even worse make them rich on your labour and you get a pittance! It is not communism, it is basic self interest. Work to live not live to work!
