Well if "people" don't know that Santa is dead, then they have way bigger issues than their x mas holiday being ruined by a bad case of the "Wake up and smell the coffee you ********!!!"s
But, if this person is of the 'child' persuasion then Ms. Foo Foo, I can't beleive you would torture small childrens so!!
You ARE a true Sadist!!

i know that st. nicholas is passed,

but santa claus is an ideal, someone we can believe in. it's very sad that once we get older we loose the awe and wonderment that we had when we were children. we become hardened and skeptical about anything that might possibly bring us joy and fancy.

santa claus embodies a feeling and joy that we overlook throughout the year. as adults we know that it's just a person in a suit,

but as you pass the santa that stands out in the cold asking for donations, remember that he may not be the real thing, but he stands for charity, joy and innocense, let that feel your heart and mind and you'll find

that a part of you still does believe in santa claus...

i emplore you, don't ever take that feeling away from anyone, child or adult...

~*so which ever holiday you celebrate this season, i wish you a happy one*~

It depends on the age of the person. If she or he is 40, it is time to break the news to them. However, if that person is under 11, I would not suggest it. You might piss their parents off and get punched or your house egged or something like that....
p.s. Christmas is not about Santa, it is the celebration of the birth of the christian prophet Jesus, if you are christian. If you are not christian, then this time of year is about something else all together..... for me, this time of year is a minor holiday! Guess what i am? and even I know the magic and spirit of Santa!

well, may i asked, "how do you feel when someone told you that."
in my opinion, i don't think it is wrong. but i guess it is depend on who you talking to. if you tell an adult, then of course it is okay.

but if you tell someone under the age of 10, i think it is not nice. We were once a child, so if little children know there is no Santa, they will be sad, and I don't think it is a good idea because it hurt the little kids and they will lose their spirit for Christmas.

Santa is a living spirit that little kids beleive in and I dont think that you should spoil it for them yet tell them when theyre 9 or around that age instead of bursting their bubbles now...... I used to love to beleive in him no offense but I wouldnt go around doing that.....hes not dead and hes not alive hes just a spirit thats make beleive and pretty freaky LOL

The real santa, lived in a village in Norway. He died a long, long time ago. But it is OK NOT to tell our children that he is dead. Let them enjoy the magic of Christmas.

It all depends on the situation, really...who are you talking to?

Also, Christmas isn't really all about Santa Claus.

kids are more intuitive than you think. ever since i was 5 i doubted santa's existence. if kids have an ounce of logic they will accept the truth
