So far in the Spanish version, she gets fired after her affair was discovered and got a job in another city. She then meets a new guy and she is falling in love with him while her other guy wants her back. Probably she might have to choose between 2 guys.

she will get plastic surgery and no longer be ugly. This will set a good example for other ugly girls and inspire them to undergo plastic surgery to make them pretty so they aren't an eyesore in real life and can be of some value to society rather than remain a worthless ugly chick.

I think she’s supposed to get one of those total makeovers, and then the guy realizes what a fool he’s been for ignoring her so long, but by then she realizes that she doesn’t have to limit herself any more, and so she winds up ignoring him.
