Firefox can't play any internet video media. What gives?

Well, certain ones.
I have all Media players on my pc.

you should see a yellow warning near the top of the webpage that says
plug-in missing click here to download
to play videos in your web browser you'll need to have installed
windows media player
quicktime
realplayer
shockwave
those are the main ones that I can think right now.
