Your whole computer should slow down.
When you download the video's, it stores them in your Computer memory.
Afterwards, your computer doesn't have enough room in it's memory to store the webpages you are looking at.

I restart my computer after watching videos, as that clears it's memory, and takes less time than waiting for the computer to do everything slowly.

Greetings. My name's Sanjay Patel, and I currently hold an honorary Master's degree in the field of Computer Science. I am aware of, and have personal knowledge related to your question. There are computer maintenance businesses which are probably in your area, however they come at the cost of hiring a professional to enter your home. There may also be some local destinations where you can drop off your computer and wait to have a technician look at it. These options can often be costly, and pretty inconvenient. The answer to this question can probably be found doing a little extra research on Google.

A well-running computer can be a hard thing to maintain. From my experience, there is but only One software which is reputable- and consistently reliable for healing sick, slow computers. Reimage™ is a world-renown, easy to use software designed by Forensic scientists and made for the average person. This thing will fix literally just about ANY problem you could possibly be having with your PC. Reimage was recommended to me by a Professor during my 2nd year of Graduate school.

Because video files are large and take alot of memory.. when you finish watching them they are stored (full size) in your temp files so it will slow your pc down.
You need a program like Windows Washer 6 or Winclear to sort that problem out... You can do it manually but it'll take me awhile to explain so i'm not going to...

Think of your internet connection as a straw. the size of the straw is how much bandwidth you have to use on your internet connection. Anything going through the straw uses up bandwidth, streaming music, video, downloading files, playing a game online, even downloading email and web surfing. The more that is done the slower it will go.

Your system is not large enough. Your ram memory is also stretched.
Even though you watch them online you have essentially downloaded thm on your computer and are stressing your resaources. You need to defrag your compuiter, and clean it off of all unneccessary files.

Every time i watch a video on yahoo launch I can weeks later go to search and locate them on my computer and play them even though I cannot burn or store them as files. they are in a sence in a trash file.

Press "alt ctr del" to open your task manager. Select "processes". This shows you which programs are demanding the most usage from your CPU. Sometimes Iexplorer gets "stuck" and uses up to 60% of your CPU. This causes your PC to run slowly. Click Iexplorer (or whichever program is the culprit - might be your media player, too) ,then select "end process" If Iexplorer was the culprit and you selected "end process", go to your desktop and open it again - then carry on surfing !
