we all know that if i were hypnotised and told that the 6 glasses of water was really strong alcohol, I would act and seem drunk. Yet what If I were hyptotised and told that the whiskey I was about to consume was only water?

It may slightly alleviate the effects (that is to say, you're going to act more drunk if you expect to), but many of them would remain essentially unchanged. Alcohol has effects on your body which mere hypnosis cannot counteract.

the drunken feeling with water would be psychosomatic, but the alcohol would still get you drunk because it cause the physical symptoms that cannot be "willed" away.

it took me a sec to get it however ahahah, that was once soo humorous, i actaully needed to learn it two times however lol, i am getting it now, (ask any of my peers, i'm blonde, lol, it takes me a minute to get stuff! haha)
