Vanden Plas - Prog Metal in the vein of Dream Theater and Kamelot. They're the only German metal band that I like, now.

Accept - geat German band - songs like Restless and wild, Balls to The Wall, Princess of the Dawn, etc. another good German band , "Running Wild" - go to their site, i think they have some mp3's, etc.

some i understand of.....they are black metallic....yet sing in German Minas Morgul Nachtblut Riger Varg None of those bands sound some thing like Rammstein, yet they do sing in German.
