I am 33 weeks and still don't have a name picked out. I am going due be a single mother due to unpreventable circumstances and I feel so much pressure by having to give label this child with a name that he will have to forever live with. I have posted on this many times but as the due date get closer I get more stressed about it....suggestions please!
I like the name Zachary, Noah and Carson, and Gabriel and Aiden(which is suddenly becoming way too popular for my taste. But I am not REALLY enthusiastic about any of them. Please help
I have a five year old son named Nathaniel Blayne it means God's gift and I consider it a very strong name so I want a stong name for this baby too. Preferrably something biblical to go with my older son.
By the was I am having a baby BOY---due Feb 5, 2007.
Please help this stressed out mother with posting a variety of choices....preferrably biblical (but doesn't have to be) I just want my new babys name to be as strong as Nathaniel.

If you do not like the names I have chosen--please DO NOT comment or make rude comments (as all pregnant women know--we have our emotional days.....and I am having one. And please no silly names--be serious. And yes I have thought of Jacob and it is a beautiful name but way too common. Thanks

I think Noah is a great and more creative name than the others, the other names are used way too often, Noah has a lot of spirit to it, I think you should name him that

Out of the names you've chosen I like Zachary. I think Zachary Carson would sound good with your other sons name. I would stay away from names that start with "N" because I just hate when all the kids have the same first letter in their name. Another strong and not to often used biblical name that I like is Malachai or Zachariah. What ever name you pick, I am sure it will be beautiful and represent your child well.

You've got a great start! I agree with you 100000% that Aidan is too popular right now. Considering all the different spellings - Aiden/Ayden/Aden - plus all the rhyming names - Braden/Jayden/Graden - out there, I truly think it's too common to use just now. Of your other four choices, my favorite is Gabriel. Nathaniel and Gabriel would be a great set, and would both have strong Biblical meanings.
Other possibilities:
Elijah ("my god is Yahweh")
David ("beloved")
Tobias ("God is good")
Judah ("praised")
Elias (form of Elijah)
Isaiah ("God is salvation")
Ezra ("help")
Matthew ("gift of God" - that could be really cool, having both boys' names mean "God's gift")
Gideon ("he cuts down")
Hiram ("exalted brother" - could be nice, as he's the second boy!)
Conrad - less popular than Carson
Jadon ("thankful" - this could be an interesting choice, because it is similar to Aiden and has a very nice meaning)
Noah Gideon?
Matthew Hiram?
Carson Elijah?
Zachary Judah?
Good luck!

Gabriel is a beautiful name for a boy. It's strong and has a nice knick-name with Gabe. And could your baby couldn't be anymore set for life being named after one of the Heavenly Angels. Make a list and bring it with you to the hospital and name your little guy when you see what he looks like. I did that with my two sons.
