It is like a stick shift in the car. Second and third gear are missing. So I can only be nice or really angry. So I don't ever say anything to anyone. Example: Some one gets into my personal space. I am told that westerners have a comfort zone of four feet. I assume every one should Know the rules, right. I mean the Japanese know how to go through a very complicated bowing ritual. Anyway, no polite responses EVER come to mind (only things like "get the **** away from me you cretin) so I never say anything.

Trust me, I'm sure you are not nice all the time.

Peter, you don't have to stick it in first gear all the time -- it's bad for your heart -- but also don't go overdrive when it's not called for. What you need to do is to upgrade your transmission to six gears, then keep it under the first three gears most of the time. So instead of yelling "get the **** away", you can smile and say 'hey how about some personal space here? Thanks.' Isn't that better? Reserve the sixth gear only for the dudes who are about to attack you.

I wish that you were more comfortable and at true peace inside towards other people.

I dont know you, or the kind of people you encounter from day to day.

I have been in neighborhoods were I didn't feel respect from strangers that were very close to me physically.

Forgiveness is an important aspect of life. It shows us that we really are brothers/sisters with everyone. If somebody disrespects us or wrongs us, or is "in our face." We have to see that they are missing something. Isn't that sad.

Jesus taught us everything we need to know to be at peace. Check out some of his lessons in like Mathew 18. the parable at verse 21 as well.

Or John 8.

As wickedness increases, the love of most will grow cold brother. We can't let that kill our love. We need to ask God for more love and whatever we ask for like this, we will receive. Because of Jesus by the way.

I am speaking to what has happened in my life. I used to be somebody that punched things when he got mad. And hated.

"Love your neighbor as yourself." It was hard at first for me, but the more I pray, the more I see.

Trust in the one you can trust without question.

Peter O if you are nice all the time I would say that you are an exception and I greet you with envy. I try and be nice all the time
but when I get out of bed on the wrong foot , oh boy! stay out of my way then. I do not use bad language but my looks can kill so I wish to be nice all the time. Good luck to you.

Look at it like this: If God gave us what we really deserved we'd all be dead! So HE is asking us to have the same control and loving attitudes towards our fellow man that HE gives to us. Tip: the next time someone comes into your personal space - you step back and no one gets hurt.
Bless You

It is easy really... best described as "The Golden Rule".
"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."
aka..Treat others the way you want to be treated.
If you want to be an a$$hole about it, feel free. But expect the same in return. People are nice because that is what they want in return from other people. They want others to be nice to them.

you need someone to make you feel all of the feelings there are out there. so put your attention on that for awhile, makes you OK with the personal space thing too. good luck!
