Any other Pens fans that just can't see a team being called the Kansas City Penguins. what is up w/ that?

I know, that sucks! I really truly hope that they stay in Pittsburgh. As a hockey fan and a Canadian, I feel your pain.

Yeah Kansas City Penguins would sound bad. Actually most cities would need to change the name a little at least. I'm hoping it doesn't come down to them moving though. No not really buying into Plan B, rather hoping things may work out with a new owner that would build an arena. There are some owners that also own the Arena. On top of that there is a Indoor Football team in Pittsburgh. Build an Arena they can use as well. You'll make money from charging them rent. I mean sure you have other uses BUT that is an almost guarnteed thing.

it does really suck, Isles Capri Casino Chain would of build a $290 million dollar arena and the people of the Pittsburgh area would of not cost them one dime. and the deal still didn't go threw i really believe this is Bettmans way of moving the team somewhere else in the U.S and that's why he scared off Basillie the guy that was going to buy the team and there was allot of talk about him moving them in Canada if Isles Capri didn't go through as we all know it didn't. SO BLAME GARRY BETTMAN THAT YOUR PITTSBURGH PENGUINS ARE GOING TO BE MOVED TO ANOTHER AMERICAN CITY.

The NHL, unlike the NBA, always changes mascots when a team changes cities.

Won't happen they'll work it out somehow. The Steelers and Pirates deals were shot down and plan B was put into action a couple weeks after.
