i was burning cd's everything was going fine but then it just stopped burning,it burns 2 songs then stop,i checked the cd rom and my computer says its working fine,how do i fix it?

your cd rom is dead and you can dump it. As for the thingy you put your CD in, it'is called CD/DVD combo (it's a cd/dvd player and burner at the same time)
sometimes blank CD or DVD are faulty and there is nothing you can about it. If the same problem occurs time and again during burning process you should try to slow it down. It may be the solution.

With the price of present day CD/DVD writers being relatively inexpensive today, you're better off just replacing the drive. Below is a link to one on newegg.com just to give you an example.
