Two points of interest...
1. Jimmy Greaves has NEVER played in the Premier League, let alone scored. I had to re-read my own question when I saw that answer.
2. On February 21, 2004, in an away game against Charlton Athletic where Blackburn Rovers were defeated 3-2, Friedel scored a goal from open play in the 90th minute.
BUT he was 33 at the time, so is not one of the oldest goalscorers.
Although another goalkeeper is on the list....

And Ben, you've just given the oldest players rather than the oldest goalscorers. Try again.

i do not understand, yet I have a question. On a morning television coach over right here (u . s . a .) they were showing pictures of a few guy who sounds like Robert Goulet with a mustache and has a Conrad Dobler (He replaced into seen between the NFL's dirtiest gamers ever. Biting, eye gouging, twisting limbs and digits, multiple low blows lower than the pile up) personality. He performs for an English crew whose crew starts with a "W," i trust. did you recognize who he's and is he as eye-catching as they were making him out to be? If he's larger than existence, is that basically on field or is it the same at the same time as he's not taking section in. i understand you adult males take football heavily, yet over right here that's not a lot the case. This guy will be a breath of sparkling air interior the u . s . a . football scene, to the quantity one actual exists. positioned him on the lengthy island crew and he would nicely be their Joe Namath. even although i do not save in options Broadway Joe ever wearing a huge stache. the way they were describing this guy had me chuckling. So i wager i'd favor to carry close how a lot is actual or hype and your opinion of his play and recognition. would you want this guy on your crew and why? in case you dislike him, would your opinion replace if he performed on your crew? thanks. Have a good English most well known League day!

Jimmy Greaves would be up there, but if you're talking current & not all-time goalscorers, I wouldn't know.
