whilst Triple H started utilising that circulate as his finisher he replaced into taking part in a snobby French "blue-blood" character (finished with a French accessory) noted as "Jean-Paul Levesque" in WCW. He replaced into supposedly born into an more advantageous type family members, subsequently had a greater suitable pedigree (family members lineage) than the different wrestler. Calling the circulate the Pedigree replaced into just to rigidity his character's snobby, greater suitable-than-you, ideas-set. BQ. Double underhook Facebuster.

back before the original DX Hunter Hearst Hemsley was a rich snobbish "pure blood". He would come out in fancy clothing and speak in a very snobbish voice. He called his the move Pedigree because it went with his angle. Because of his high and mighty attitude it shocked everyone when he and Michaels teamed up to form Degeneration X. That started because Vince was complaining about Generation X being a bunch degenerates. Hoped i helped.

The WWE needing good mid-carders who could be pushed into the main event, took on Lesvesque at the recommendation of Kowalski. He was renamed Hunter Hearst Helmsley and given the heel gimmick of a rich snob from upper, rust New England. The "Helmsley" came from infamous hotelier Leona Helmsley. His finisher was dubbed the Pedigree, and he was even given a series of valets.

Because originally, when he went by "Hunter Hearst Helmsley" his gimmick was that he was an aristocratic blueblood. He doens't have that gimmick anymore, but when he was billed as an old-money rich kid, it made more sense for a move to be called the "pedigree" which is a word that suggests pure, royal lineage.
