I think that there are quite a few people this year who don't really feel as "Christmas-y" as they usually do. Not that they're not looking forward to it, just that it feels different this year. I agree...it seems to take a little more work to be really enthusiastic about Christmas this year, which makes me a little sad which makes it even HARDER to be enthusiastic.

But I'm trying to make a big point to look forward to it.

Go have some cocoa and Merry Christmas!

I usually do look forward to it. well, this year I don't look forward to Christmas Eve. my spouse and I have spent time with each family...together...the last couple years. the 24th with her family, because that's the only day the whole family gets together. and the 25th with my family. my mom has thrown such a tantrum over NOT spending the 24th with her (and my step-family), that she is forcing us to spend the 24th apart this year....and she started throwing this fit right after Christmas...LAST year!
plus the fact that money is a lot tighter this year....I've just been totally stressed and not really into it this year.
