It is absolutely worth more !!! Many MANY collectors out there love the "error" bills and coins. Finding them is the difficult thing.
You can certainly ask a dealer near you for his/her opinion and if you are n need of alittle cash, put it on ebay and watch the battle begin!!
Either way enjoy it !!!

There may be some collector value in faulty printing (remember the upside down airplane stamp), but any value over and above the face value of the bill is purely dependent on collector demand and also the condition of the bill. If there are a large number of bills out there with the same flaw, the value will be diminished. You should contact a coin collector (contact several so you don't get ripped off) or even an auction house such as Sotheby's or Christie's that can provide an appraisal. Or if you find out that the "Antiques Roadshow" is coming to a city near you, you can bring it there and have it appraised for free.
Otherwise, it will be worth what it says on the face.....$1.

go to the library, they should have a book on the value of paper money. I had a $20.00 bill once that had HAWAII printed on the back, from WWII. some are only valuable if someone needs it to fill in for a series of consecutive numbers.
