The holidays revolve around my family- a time to get together with the entire family and cook great big delicious dinners and just have a great time. Of course sometimes drama comes along with having everyone gather together but overall it's generally a really great time.

A holiday means more free time, no school, a time to get to know your family especially the distant ones, a time to think about spending some money on others, a delight for the kids, trying new food, & getting sick by the end of the day ;)

This: today my club, (mostly American senior citizens and their Mexican wives and friends) gave a posada for an orphanage. The orphans had a great time eating hot-dogs and drinking coke. They sang Christmas songs for us and we raised $8,000pesos ($800 US) for them. We had a delicious meal and everyone went away happy.

My family is thousands of miles away and I haven't seen them in two and a half years, but it was heartwarming to see those children having a good time.

Have a good one!

A day with no stress. No work, no school, waking up late and spending the rest of the day with family. Relaxing and not stressing out with school work, or working.
