Wear something nice but casual - it keeps the pressure low but if he turns out to behave badly, you can catch a bus and not look weird. (Take enough $$ for bus or cab just in case - this is all the time rule , not just 1st date)

Well, you need to
A) Learn English it's What ARE some ideas for your first date? But no one really cares, so whatever.
B) Get Help which you are doing.
Depends on where your going
Movies: Keep it casual. Jeans and a nice shirt. (not like a blouse, but something you don't look like a s l u t.)
Dinner: Is it a good restaurant? If it's like a four star where something dressy (black pants, modest shirt.) If it's something you know casual, just where what you normally wear. He (hopefully) asked you out for you, and the best way too define you is what you wear, and communication.
There are probably a couple more scenarios for a date, but Ihope you gat the idea.

I would wear something casual like mabye jeans a halter top and a fur coat with high heels

Jeans a nice tank top and heels just to give it a nice touch :)
put on some simple jewelry and there you have it...its simple but glammed up a little bit

wear a skirt and a cute top or sweater. dont get too overdressed or you may look desperate. and if the guy ( or girl ) rele likes you it wont matter what you look like.(unless hes a big jerk)
