Will Europe fall under the weight of political correctness?

Does it seem that they are caught up in being so nice to everyone that they are in an ivory tower. Do they no longer recognize what is actually going on? Is their condition contagious and can we catch it in America?

Yes, politeness along with reasoned discussion and debate will lead to the death of us all. American leaders are in a neocon bubble, a much better place than the ivory towers of "old Europe".
