Okay, a gram, a meter and a liter all different types of measurement. (Gram being weight or mass, meter being length and liter being volume) Kilo-, centi- and milli- are prefixes to these measurements describing the size of the thing in question, a kilo being 100, a centi beign .01 and milli being .001. Percent error is exactly what it says, the percent that a measuring device could get wrong based on what it is designed to measure. the smaller the measuring system, the easier it is to get an exact measurement. (you wouldn't want to measure a millimeter with a meterstick)

Gram is weight (mass? One of those.)
Meter is length
Liter is volume (usually liquid, but you could use, say, gas as well)

Kilo is a prefix meaning "1000-" whatevers.
Centi-"1/100"
Milli-"1/1000"

Those are all in the metric system. So, say, a centimeter would be 1/100 of a meter. A meter would be 100 centimeters. A kilogram would be 1000 grams (or 2.2 pounds.)

Percent error--huh? Do you mean "margin of error"? That would be how accurate your measurement is within a certain percentage, like, 3 percent more or less than your number. Percent error--I dunno.
