When I don't use black eyeliner, I use cool effect shadow/liner by Maybelline for the liner. If I want to wear black liner, I use a shimmer poeder/dust or Almay shimmering eye cream. You put the cream on first and then the liner. It's easiest if you start with the highest place you are applying the shadows and work your way down. Good Luck=)

DON'T USE WHITE EYELINER!! That looks so trashy and tacky. You can buy eye brightening powders at any store. Or even just a silvery or white eye shadow works. Just use an eyeshadow brush and dab a little into the tearduct area of your eyes and it makes them look bigger and brighter.

What I've always heard is that if you take a white eyeliner pencil and apply it to the pink part at the bottom of your eye (right above your bottom lashes) it will give the illusion that your eyes are actually wider than what they really are. It worked for me!

Get a fat white pencil and smudge it on the part of the eyes where they meet the nose and blend. This really helps wake up the eyes.

lol. I use black eyeliner to give my light brown eyes an alluring look. Try a line on your upper and lower lids and see how you like it.
