I give them fresh veggies and fruit every night. You're supposed to. As for bigger cages, can you get much bigger than a plastic kiddie pool?

First off, the males and females are seperated right?

A bigger cage would be a great present. www.guineapigcages.com is a cheap way to make bigger cages. Also, new hidey houses or a new veggie is a fun gift.

I used to give my guinea pig a bit of apple for a treat. He loved it! And he lived to be seven years old so I must have been doing something right.

For the mom, I would get her a nice groom so she can be nice and clean.
For the dad, give him a nice carrot and apples and celery.
For the babies, a nice cuddle and some hay would be awesome. If you want them to be really happy, give them a meringue of their favorite treats.

WARNING!!!!!

Unless you want more hamster babies - that are inbred - you'd better get the girls a seperate cage from the boys.

P.S. You probably already know this, but inbred babies can get terrible traits. Both mentally and physically.

A bigger cage? I think that with the babies you might need more room.

Try adding hidey holes in their cage. a 'pigloo' would be a good idea. plus you can put plastic tubing in, cut in half to give them tunnels.
