It was hanging in a closet for a couple of years!

Make a paste of vinegar and baking soda and apply it to the stain(s) let it sit for a few minutes. Rinse under warmish water then throw it in the washing machine - no bleach (bleach sometimes actually causes those yellowish stains) That should help.

try bleaching it that should work. if not maybe get it dry cleaned or get professional help.
