You spelled it correctly. The disorder is called Autism Spectrum Disorder. It is quite complicated to explain. This term refers to any of the diagnoses within the autism spectrum, from Asperger Syndrome at the high end to “classic” autism at the low end. Also included under this diagnosis are Pervasive Developmental Disorder Not Otherwise Specified (PDD-NOS), Rett's Syndrome, Childhood Disintegrative Disorder and, sometimes, Fragile X Syndrome. High Functioning Autism, Low Functioning Autism and Non-Verbal Speech Disorder are not official diagnoses on the spectrum, but may be used to describe an individual's particular set of symptoms.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurological disorder that prevents people from understanding what they see, hear or sense. ASD affects reasoning, social interaction and communication. It can affect the functioning and development of the brain and is usually evident before a child turns three years old. It is a spectrum disorder, which means there is a wide variation in how it affects children.

Autism is a neurological disorder and people who have it normally start speaking after the age of 3 and have trouble with social interactions. Autistic people always seem to be in their own dreamworld and always look aloof and uninterested in reality. Autism without significant language delays is known as Asperger syndrome. I have autism and I find it to be difficult to talk to people and answer them so I like to use the internet because my voice often fades and I pronounce my words all wrong.

Autism is a developmental disorder. A child can be autistic, and suffer from autism. Same thing, just one's an adjective and one's how you spell the noun form.
