OK, if you are a northerner, you will think it is warm. It's about 70-ish--give or take. Anyone that lives down there finds it cold during that time. I was a transplant for 4 yrs....and January can be a bit nippy, but it never was to any of my friends/family that visited. I had a friend that swam in my unheated pool at that time. Unusual at that time. Even for me after a year. You will most likely need jeans/sweatshirt/light jacket at night....

Yes it is, at night you might want to wear jeans and a sweatshirt,it should be warm enough for a quick swim (south beach my favorite) it is also topless!!! don't forget to have a drink at Sloppy Joe's, if you haven't been to Sloppy Joe's you haven't been to Key West!!! ENJOY!!!

No, not really. You can probably get away with no jacket but it might be a bit nippy for shorts/t-shirts.
