OK the ramp rises 1ft in 15ft so 2ft in 30ft right? So the ramp starts 30ft in front of the door.

The ramp starts 30 feet from the house at a point 2 feet below the doorway. The length ramp itself can be determined with the Pythagorean Theorem.

r^2 = 30^2 + 2^2 = 900 + 4 = 904
r = sqrt(904) = 30.066593 feet

This is very close to 30 1/15 feet.
