Will Europe fall under the weight of political correctness?

Does it seem that they are caught up in being so nice to everyone that they are in an ivory tower. Do they no longer recognize what is actually going on? Is their condition contagious and can we catch it in America?

You say Europe as if it is one country.
Although they are fast becoming known as the European Union they are far from one country with one mindset and one clearly defined goal for the future.

Germans still dominate them economically, and they still have the problem of both France as a nation weak with no real direction and the constant pressure to accept Turkey as a partner.

Each country might be said to have its own agenda and mindset (look at the recent cartoon fiasco of Denmark). Germans for instance made a solemn vow they have tried to live up to this past 60 years. "Never again will we allow a German Soldier to step foot off German Soil". The political battle over supporting the first Gulf War with technicians only drew a HOT debate in the German courts as well as political offices.

For France, they have a military crisis economically.... the "Factories of War" are said to be almost defunct..... they now lack the ability to sew any more white flags of surrender and do not know what to do now.

Political correctness it's an American trend and not all American trends are being followed in Europe.

As the other guy said, Europe is not one country. Even if they pass a law in the EU about political correctness it doesn't mean that all the EU states will follow. Especially in the East European Countries where racism and nationalism is strong.

You see, not all Europeans feel guilty because you had black slaves for 200 years.

Political correctness was started in America and exported into Europe. Political correctness is destroying all white nations.
