I am trying the demo version of tunebite and it looks great, but it records somewhat choppy. I dont want to pay for the full version if this is how its going to record. Anyone know why its doing this?

I'm not familiar with that particular program. However, choppy recording often indicates that there are not enough CPU cycles to digitize the stream. Before trying to record, shutdown other programs that are running. Particualarly chat programs and the like which frequently poll the system. Run ProcExp to see if there are any particular services that are using alot of CPU. Once you have the system running with over 90% free CPU, try the recording again and see if it is better.
