Go to add/remove software in control panel and un install the program. If you want,I can give a few links that offer free virus and spyware removers...!You may be having a virus or spyware installed on your PC. Norton, AVG , Avast are free antivirus software. Ad-aware, Ewido are free spyware removers. You can download free softwares at

totally un-install norton. the files in c documents and settings, and in the add and remove area, plus any desktop access icons. then download the anti-virus offered and the anti-spy offered by A T and T. i had problems trying to get it on my computer so i called the techs at A T and T. they were a big help. i now have the anti-virus and the anti-spy offered by yahoo.

Did not like yahoo's anti spyware!
Seemed to (computer) slow down.
Also be carefull uninstalling it!
